Kligesic S Tablet is a combination medication containing Diclofenac 50 mg and Serratiopeptidase 10 mg, formulated to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, enhances the anti-inflammatory effect by breaking down inflammatory mediators and promoting the resolution of edema and exudates in inflamed tissues.
