Paracetamol, a widely used non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic agent, acts primarily through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, contributing to its analgesic and fever-reducing properties. The synergistic action of these two agents provides enhanced pain relief while potentially reducing the required dose of opioid, thereby minimizing opioid-related adverse effects.
Kivipar-T is indicated for the treatment of acute pain conditions such as postoperative pain, musculoskeletal pain, dental pain, and other painful conditions where combination therapy is appropriate. The tablet should be administered orally as per the prescribed dosage regimen, with caution advised in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, history of substance abuse, or seizure disorders.
Common side effects may include nausea, dizziness, constipation, and somnolence. Use of Kivipar-T should be under medical supervision to ensure safe and effective pain management.
