Ketonack 10mg Tablet DT contains Ketorolac tromethamine, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe pain. Each tablet delivers 10mg of Ketorolac, which exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation, pain, and fever.

The disintegrating tablet formulation allows for rapid dissolution and absorption, facilitating prompt onset of analgesic action, making it suitable for patients requiring quick relief from acute pain episodes such as postoperative pain, musculoskeletal injuries, or dental pain. Ketonack 10mg should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to minimize the risk of adverse effects.
Common side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, dizziness, and headache. It is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal impairment, or known hypersensitivity to Ketorolac or other NSAIDs. Caution is advised in patients with cardiovascular disease, bleeding disorders, or those on concomitant anticoagulant therapy.
