Ketoford 10mg Tablet DT contains Ketorolac tromethamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe pain. Each tablet delivers 10mg of Ketorolac, which exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation, pain, and fever.

Ketoford 10mg Tablet DT is formulated as a dispersible tablet, facilitating rapid dissolution and absorption, which allows for quicker onset of analgesic action. It is commonly prescribed postoperatively or for acute musculoskeletal pain where opioid therapy is not indicated or as an adjunct to other analgesics. The medication should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible to minimize the risk of adverse effects, including gastrointestinal irritation, bleeding, renal impairment, and cardiovascular events.
Ketoford is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ketorolac or other NSAIDs, active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe renal or hepatic impairment. Caution is advised in elderly patients and those with a history of cardiovascular disease. Patients should be monitored regularly for signs of adverse reactions during therapy. This medication should be used under strict medical supervision.
