Ketoeasy-DT Tablet contains Ketorolac 10mg, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the short-term management of moderate to severe pain. Ketorolac exerts its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, leading to a decrease in prostaglandin synthesis, which are mediators of inflammation and pain. This medication is commonly prescribed for postoperative pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and other acute pain conditions where opioid analgesics are not indicated or as an adjunct to reduce opioid dosage. Ketoeasy-DT is designed as a dispersible tablet, facilitating rapid onset of action and ease of administration, particularly in patients with difficulty swallowing conventional tablets. The recommended dose should not exceed 40mg per day, and treatment duration is generally limited to 5 days to minimize the risk of adverse effects, including gastrointestinal bleeding, renal impairment, and cardiovascular events. Ketorolac is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal or hepatic impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
