Kenadion 10mg Injection contains Vitamin K (10mg) as its active ingredient and is indicated for the prevention and treatment of hypoprothrombinemia and bleeding disorders caused by Vitamin K deficiency. It is commonly used in cases of hemorrhagic disease of the newborn, anticoagulant overdose, and in patients with impaired absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Administered via intramuscular or slow intravenous injection, Kenadion facilitates the synthesis of clotting factors II, VII, IX, and X, thereby promoting normal blood coagulation. The onset of action is rapid, making it suitable for emergency reversal of anticoagulation effects.
