How It Works
Serratiopeptidase acts as a proteolytic enzyme, breaking down fibrin and other proteins involved in inflammation, thereby reducing pain and swelling.
Aceclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.

Kardinac-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac (100 mg), Paracetamol (325 mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15 mg). Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides effective relief from pain and inflammation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, alleviating mild to moderate pain and reducing fever through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, enhances anti-inflammatory effects by breaking down inflammatory mediators and promoting the resolution of edema and tissue repair. Kardinac-SP is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries such as sprains and strains. It is also beneficial in postoperative and dental pain where inflammation is a significant component.
The combination offers synergistic pain relief and anti-inflammatory action while minimizing individual drug dosages, potentially reducing adverse effects. Caution is advised in patients with gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs. Kardinac-SP should be used under medical supervision, adhering to prescribed dosages to ensure safety and efficacy.
