Kaimotrip-AP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Trypsin Chymotrypsin 100,000 AU. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol provides additional analgesic and antipyretic benefits through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, enhancing pain relief and fever reduction. Trypsin Chymotrypsin, a proteolytic enzyme complex, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes resolution of edema and inflammation, aiding in tissue repair. The synergistic action of these components makes Kaimotrip-AP effective in managing acute musculoskeletal pain, postoperative inflammation, soft tissue injuries, and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis. It is indicated for relief of pain and inflammation associated with conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
