This combined action results in improved myocardial oxygen supply and reduced cardiac workload by decreasing both preload and afterload. K-Cor 10 is effective in the prevention and treatment of chronic stable angina and is particularly beneficial in patients who remain symptomatic despite conventional anti-anginal therapy. The tablet is administered orally, typically once or twice daily, with dosage adjustments based on clinical response and tolerability.
Common adverse effects may include headache, dizziness, flushing, and gastrointestinal disturbances, which are generally mild and transient. Caution is advised in patients with hypotension, severe renal or hepatic impairment, and those concurrently using other vasodilators or phosphodiesterase inhibitors.
