Jusdap L 5 Tablet

This dual mechanism provides complementary glycemic control by targeting both renal glucose excretion and pancreatic hormone regulation. Jusdap L 5 is prescribed as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults inadequately controlled on monotherapy or combination therapy. The fixed-dose combination improves patient compliance by reducing pill burden. It is contraindicated in patients with type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, or severe renal impairment.

Common adverse effects include urinary tract infections, genital mycotic infections, and nasopharyngitis. Caution is advised in patients with a history of hypersensitivity, volume depletion, or risk of hypoglycemia when used with insulin or insulin secretagogues. Regular monitoring of renal function and glycemic parameters is recommended during therapy with Jusdap L 5 Tablet.
