Jonac Plus 50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Diclofenac 50mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and fever. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, provides analgesic and antipyretic effects primarily through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. This combination is indicated for the relief of moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dental pain, postoperative pain, and other inflammatory conditions.
