Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic that antagonizes aldosterone receptors in the distal renal tubules, promoting sodium and water excretion while conserving potassium, thereby reducing fluid overload without causing hypokalemia.

Torasemide is a loop diuretic that inhibits the sodium-potassium-chloride co-transporter in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle, resulting in potent diuresis and decreased fluid retention. The synergistic action of these agents enhances diuretic efficacy, improves fluid balance, and aids in blood pressure control. Jbtor Plus is typically administered once daily, with dosage adjustments based on clinical response and renal function.
Caution is advised in patients with renal impairment, electrolyte imbalances, or hypersensitivity to sulfonamides. Monitoring of serum electrolytes, renal function, and blood pressure is recommended during therapy to minimize adverse effects such as hyperkalemia, dehydration, or hypotension.
