Jarbis 10 Tablet contains Empagliflozin 10 mg, a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. By selectively inhibiting SGLT2 in the proximal renal tubules, Empagliflozin reduces glucose reabsorption, promoting urinary glucose excretion and thereby lowering plasma glucose levels. This mechanism contributes to improved glycemic control when used as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin.
