Janolizer Syrup

Janolizer Syrup is also utilized to prevent kidney stone formation by maintaining an alkaline urinary pH, which reduces the crystallization of uric acid and cystine stones. The syrup formulation allows for easy administration, particularly in pediatric and geriatric populations. Dosage should be individualized based on the patient’s clinical condition, laboratory parameters, and response to therapy, with regular monitoring of serum electrolytes and acid-base status recommended to avoid complications such as metabolic alkalosis or electrolyte imbalances.

Janolizer Syrup is contraindicated in patients with hypernatremia, hypocalcemia, or known hypersensitivity to citrate salts. Caution is advised in patients with cardiac or renal impairment. Adverse effects are generally mild but may include gastrointestinal discomfort or electrolyte disturbances.
