This synergistic combination is effective against various gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens, including strains resistant to Amoxycillin alone. Janclav-CV 625 is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia; urinary tract infections; skin and soft tissue infections; and infections of the ear, nose, and throat. The usual dosage and duration of therapy should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the severity and type of infection.
Caution is advised in patients with a history of penicillin allergy, hepatic impairment, or mononucleosis. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal discomfort.
