By selectively inhibiting the COX-2 enzyme, Ixorib 90 reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain, while sparing COX-1, thereby minimizing gastrointestinal side effects commonly seen with non-selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medication is indicated for short-term and long-term treatment of chronic musculoskeletal conditions and acute pain episodes where inflammation is a key component. Ixorib 90 is administered orally, with the dosage tailored according to the severity of symptoms and patient response.
