Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, exhibits broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria by inhibiting DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing bacterial replication. Ornidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative, is effective against anaerobic protozoa and bacteria through DNA strand breakage and inhibition of nucleic acid synthesis. Itraconazole, a triazole antifungal agent, impedes ergosterol synthesis, disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity and function. Clobetasol propionate, a potent corticosteroid, provides anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, reducing erythema, edema, and discomfort associated with dermatological conditions.
