Isoxsuprine acts by relaxing the smooth muscles of blood vessels, leading to vasodilation and improved peripheral circulation.

Additionally, it may be employed in obstetrics to inhibit premature labor by relaxing uterine muscles. The sustained-release formulation ensures a prolonged therapeutic effect, allowing for convenient dosing and improved patient compliance. Isoprim SR should be used under medical supervision, with dosage adjusted according to clinical response and patient tolerance. Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, tachycardia, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
