Ireecox MR Tablet is a combination medication containing Etoricoxib 60 mg and Thiocolchicoside 4 mg, formulated for the management of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. Etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor, provides effective anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by selectively blocking the COX-2 enzyme involved in prostaglandin synthesis, thereby reducing pain and inflammation with a lower risk of gastrointestinal side effects compared to non-selective NSAIDs.

Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory properties, acts as a competitive antagonist of GABA and glycine receptors, alleviating muscle spasms and improving mobility. The combination is particularly beneficial in conditions such as acute musculoskeletal disorders, low back pain, osteoarthritis, and inflammatory rheumatic diseases where both pain relief and muscle relaxation are required.
