How It Works

IPS Tablet contains a combination of Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg, formulated to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of the cyclooxygenase pathway in the central nervous system.

The synergistic effect of these two active ingredients makes IPS Tablet suitable for managing various musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other inflammatory disorders. It is also effective in treating acute pain conditions including dental pain, postoperative pain, and soft tissue injuries. IPS Tablet should be used under medical supervision, especially in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, or cardiovascular diseases.
Common side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, or allergic reactions. It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs. Dosage and duration of therapy should be tailored according to the severity of symptoms and patient response to minimize adverse effects while ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
