Intadine Solution is indicated for preoperative skin disinfection, wound cleansing, and as an adjunct in the management of superficial infections. It is applied topically and should be used with caution in patients with iodine sensitivity or thyroid disorders. The solution is generally well tolerated, though prolonged use or application over large areas may cause local irritation or systemic absorption.
It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to iodine or povidone iodine. Intadine Solution should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light, and kept out of reach of children.
