InsuQuick Injection contains Insulin Aspart (100 units/mL), a rapid-acting insulin analog indicated for the management of hyperglycemia in patients with diabetes mellitus. Insulin Aspart facilitates glucose uptake in peripheral tissues and inhibits hepatic glucose production, thereby lowering blood glucose levels. It is specifically designed for subcutaneous administration to provide rapid glycemic control during meals and is typically administered within 5 to 10 minutes before food intake. The onset of action occurs approximately 10 to 20 minutes post-injection, with a peak effect at 1 to 3 hours and a duration of action lasting 3 to 5 hours. InsuQuick Injection is suitable for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients requiring prandial insulin supplementation. Dosage and administration should be individualized based on the patient’s metabolic needs, blood glucose monitoring results, and lifestyle factors. Caution is advised to avoid hypoglycemia, the most common adverse effect, by ensuring appropriate timing of meals and dose adjustments. InsuQuick should not be mixed with other insulins in the same syringe. Patients should be educated on proper injection techniques, storage conditions, and recognition of hypoglycemia symptoms.
