Insugen-R mimics endogenous insulin by facilitating cellular glucose uptake, primarily in muscle and adipose tissue, and inhibiting hepatic glucose production, thereby lowering blood glucose levels. It is administered subcutaneously, typically 30 minutes before meals, to manage postprandial glucose excursions.
