Instaflex AT Capsule SR is a sustained-release formulation combining Aceclofenac 200 mg and Thiocolchicoside 8 mg, designed for the effective management of musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis involved in pain and inflammation pathways.

Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant with antispasmodic properties, acts by modulating glycine receptors and inhibiting excitatory neurotransmission, resulting in relief from muscle spasms and associated discomfort. The sustained-release matrix ensures prolonged therapeutic plasma concentrations, enhancing patient compliance by reducing dosing frequency. Instaflex AT Capsule SR is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain, and other soft tissue disorders characterized by inflammation and muscle spasm.
