Inflacet-P Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg, formulated to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effects by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, complements this action by inhibiting central prostaglandin synthesis, enhancing pain relief and fever reduction without significant anti-inflammatory effects. Inflacet-P is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other conditions characterized by mild to moderate pain and inflammation. It is also effective in alleviating postoperative pain, dental pain, and dysmenorrhea. The combination provides synergistic analgesia with a favorable safety profile when used as directed. Patients should use Inflacet-P under medical supervision, especially those with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, cardiovascular diseases, or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or paracetamol. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and dizziness. Caution is advised to avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or hepatotoxic drugs to minimize potential risks.
