Indocap SR Capsule contains Indomethacin 75mg, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used primarily for its potent analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. Indomethacin exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever.
