Methyl Salicylate acts as a counterirritant, producing a warming sensation that helps alleviate musculoskeletal discomfort. Capsaicin, derived from chili peppers, functions by depleting substance P from sensory neurons, thereby reducing pain transmission. The synergistic combination of these active ingredients in Improgesic Gel is indicated for the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, including strains, sprains, arthritis, and backache.

The gel formulation allows for targeted application, minimizing systemic exposure and associated adverse effects. Improgesic Gel should be applied topically to the affected area two to three times daily, avoiding broken or irritated skin.
