Imoxtreat KT Eye Drop is a sterile ophthalmic solution containing Ketorolac tromethamine (0.4% w/v) and Moxifloxacin hydrochloride (0.5% w/v), formulated for the management of ocular inflammation and bacterial infections. Ketorolac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation, pain, and edema. Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, effectively targeting a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. Imoxtreat KT Eye Drop is indicated for the treatment of postoperative inflammation and prevention or treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and keratitis. The combination provides synergistic effects by simultaneously controlling inflammation and eradicating infectious agents, promoting faster recovery and symptom relief. It is administered topically, typically one to two drops into the affected eye(s) every 6 to 8 hours, as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Caution is advised in patients with hypersensitivity to any component or history of corneal epithelial breakdown. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be under medical supervision. Adverse effects may include transient burning or stinging upon instillation, blurred vision, and rarely, hypersensitivity reactions.
