Imol Plus Tablet is a combination analgesic and antipyretic formulation containing Ibuprofen 400 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Caffeine 25 mg. Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. The addition of Caffeine, a central nervous system stimulant, enhances analgesic efficacy by promoting vasoconstriction and counteracting fatigue, thereby improving patient alertness and response to pain relief. Imol Plus is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain conditions such as headache, dental pain, musculoskeletal pain, dysmenorrhea, and fever associated with common infections. It is particularly useful when monotherapy is insufficient or when rapid onset of analgesia is desired. The combination should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, hepatic or renal impairment, and cardiovascular disease. It is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to any component. Dosage should be individualized based on clinical response, and prolonged use should be avoided to minimize adverse effects.
