Ibugesic TH 100mg/4mg Tablet is a combination medication containing Aceclofenac 100mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Thiocolchicoside 4mg, a muscle relaxant. This formulation is primarily indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute musculoskeletal conditions including muscle spasms and strains.

Aceclofenac exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation, pain, and swelling. Thiocolchicoside acts as a selective muscle relaxant by antagonizing glycine receptors in the spinal cord, leading to the relief of muscle stiffness and spasms. The combined action of these two agents provides effective symptomatic relief in conditions involving both inflammation and muscle spasm.
Ibugesic TH should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to NSAIDs, active gastrointestinal ulcers, or severe hepatic or renal impairment. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, dizziness, and rarely hypersensitivity reactions. Patients are advised to adhere to prescribed dosages and report any unusual symptoms to their healthcare provider promptly.
