Ibugesic ASP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac (100mg), Paracetamol (325mg), and Serratiopeptidase (15mg). Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol provides effective analgesia and antipyresis through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, complementing Aceclofenac’s peripheral action. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the reduction of inflammation and edema by breaking down inflammatory mediators and promoting the absorption of exudates. This synergistic combination is indicated for the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries, including sprains and strains. Ibugesic ASP is also beneficial in postoperative pain and inflammation control. The tablet should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to any component, active gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, and severe hepatic or renal impairment. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, or allergic reactions.
