IBU-C SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 15 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides effective relief from pain and inflammation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, offering symptomatic relief from mild to moderate pain and fever through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, enhances the anti-inflammatory effect by breaking down inflammatory mediators and facilitating the reduction of swelling and edema. The synergistic action of these three components makes IBU-C SP Tablet suitable for managing musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, dental pain, and inflammatory conditions such as arthritis and soft tissue injuries. It is generally well tolerated but should be used with caution in patients with gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
