Teneligliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, increases endogenous incretin levels, which stimulate insulin secretion and suppress glucagon release in a glucose-dependent manner. The sustained-release formulation of Ibgliptin-M 500 ensures a gradual and prolonged drug release, contributing to improved patient compliance and stable plasma drug concentrations.
