Hyquine 200 Tablet contains Hydroxychloroquine 200 mg, an antimalarial and immunomodulatory agent used primarily for the treatment and prevention of malaria, as well as autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Hydroxychloroquine exerts its therapeutic effects by interfering with lysosomal activity and autophagy, modulating the immune response, and inhibiting the growth of certain parasites.

Hyquine 200 is indicated for acute and chronic malaria caused by Plasmodium species, and as a disease-modifying agent in autoimmune conditions to reduce inflammation, pain, and joint damage. The tablet should be administered orally with or without food, following the dosage regimen prescribed by a healthcare professional. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, dizziness, and skin rash; however, serious side effects such as retinopathy and cardiomyopathy are rare but warrant regular monitoring during prolonged therapy.
Caution is advised in patients with pre-existing retinal or cardiac conditions, and periodic ophthalmologic examinations are recommended to detect early signs of toxicity. Hyquine 200 should be used under medical supervision, with dose adjustments as necessary based on clinical response and tolerability. It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to hydroxychloroquine or related compounds.
