Hmol-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic formulation containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 5 mg, designed for the effective management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol provides analgesic and antipyretic effects through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, complementing the action of aceclofenac without causing significant gastrointestinal irritation. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and swelling, enhancing tissue repair and recovery. This synergistic combination is indicated for the relief of acute and chronic pain conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, dental pain, postoperative inflammation, and soft tissue injuries. Hmol-SP Tablet should be administered as per physician’s direction, with caution advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
