Hifenac TH8 Tablet is a combination analgesic and muscle relaxant formulation containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Thiocolchicoside 8 mg. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and swelling. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, acting as a selective antagonist of GABA and glycine receptors in the central nervous system, which helps alleviate muscle spasms and associated discomfort.

This combination is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal conditions characterized by pain and muscle spasm, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain, and soft tissue injuries.
