Hiclogen-T Tablet

Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins involved in pain and inflammation. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) contributes additional analgesic and antipyretic effects through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, enhancing overall pain relief.

This combination is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute musculoskeletal conditions such as strains, sprains, low back pain, and osteoarthritis, where muscle spasm and inflammation coexist. Hiclogen-T should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to any component, peptic ulcer disease, or severe hepatic or renal impairment.

Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, or allergic reactions. Appropriate dosing and duration of therapy are essential to maximize therapeutic benefits while minimizing risks.
