Paracetamol complements this action by providing effective analgesia and antipyresis through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, with minimal anti-inflammatory activity. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, enhances the anti-inflammatory effect by breaking down inflammatory mediators and promoting the resolution of edema and pain. This combination is indicated for the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, and post-operative inflammation.
