Povidone Iodine acts as a broad-spectrum antiseptic, providing rapid antimicrobial activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses, thereby reducing microbial load and preventing infection. Tinidazole, a nitroimidazole derivative, offers potent antiprotozoal and antibacterial effects, particularly against anaerobic pathogens commonly implicated in wound infections. Sucralfate serves as a cytoprotective agent, promoting mucosal healing by forming a protective barrier over the wound surface, enhancing tissue regeneration and reducing inflammation.
