Etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor, provides potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by selectively blocking the COX-2 enzyme, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation, while minimizing gastrointestinal side effects commonly seen with non-selective NSAIDs. Paracetamol, a widely used analgesic and antipyretic agent, complements Etoricoxib by providing additional pain relief and fever reduction through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Healcox P is indicated for the treatment of acute musculoskeletal pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and postoperative pain.
