It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections. The inclusion of Lactobacillus spores aims to restore and maintain the natural gut flora, which may be disrupted during antibiotic therapy, thereby reducing the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and other gastrointestinal disturbances.
Hdox LB is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections where doxycycline is appropriate, with the added benefit of probiotic support to enhance gastrointestinal health. The capsule should be taken orally with adequate water, preferably on an empty stomach to optimize absorption, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
