HBHep 5000/5ml Injection contains Heparin 5000 IU per 5 ml, an anticoagulant used to prevent and treat thromboembolic disorders. This injection is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of venous thromboembolism, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, and during extracorporeal circulation procedures such as hemodialysis and cardiac surgery. HBHep 5000/5ml Injection is administered via intravenous or subcutaneous routes, with dosing individualized based on the patient’s clinical condition and coagulation parameters, typically monitored by activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT). Caution is advised in patients with bleeding disorders, severe hypertension, or recent surgery.
