How It Works
Serratiopeptidase acts as a proteolytic enzyme, breaking down fibrin and other proteins involved in inflammation, thereby reducing pain and swelling.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.
Aceclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.

Greatodol-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 15 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of the prostaglandin synthesis pathway in the central nervous system.

Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of inflammation and edema. This synergistic combination is indicated for the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, and postoperative inflammation.
Greatodol-SP provides effective relief from pain, inflammation, and swelling, improving patient mobility and quality of life. The tablet should be administered orally with or after meals to minimize gastrointestinal irritation. Caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, hepatic or renal impairment. Use during pregnancy and lactation should be under medical supervision.
Adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, allergic reactions, and rarely, hematological abnormalities. Always consult a healthcare professional before initiating therapy with Greatodol-SP Tablet.
