Goodfenacol TH 4 Tablet is a combination medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Thiocolchicoside 4 mg, formulated to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation, pain, and swelling.

Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory properties, acts by selectively binding to GABA and glycine receptors in the central nervous system, leading to muscle relaxation and alleviation of muscle spasms. Goodfenacol TH 4 Tablet is indicated for the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue rheumatism, where both pain relief and muscle relaxation are desired.
The combination enhances patient compliance by addressing multiple symptoms concurrently. It should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to NSAIDs, history of gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe hepatic or renal impairment.
