Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, delays carbohydrate absorption in the intestines, attenuating postprandial hyperglycemia. Godmet VG2 is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients inadequately controlled on monotherapy or dual therapy.
