The extended-release formulation allows for once-daily dosing, improving patient adherence and maintaining stable plasma drug concentrations.

Gluxit Trio is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes inadequately controlled on monotherapy or dual therapy. Caution is advised in patients with renal impairment, hepatic dysfunction, or risk factors for lactic acidosis. Regular monitoring of renal function, glycemic parameters, and potential adverse effects such as urinary tract infections or gastrointestinal disturbances is recommended during therapy.
