This sustained-release formulation ensures a steady plasma concentration, promoting better compliance and consistent therapeutic effects. Glucopar-VD 100 SR is typically prescribed as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents such as metformin, sulfonylureas, or insulin when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to achieve target blood glucose levels.
