Glipon MF Forte Tablet PR is a combination oral antihyperglycemic agent containing Metformin 1000 mg and Teneligliptin 20 mg, indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Metformin, a biguanide, primarily reduces hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity, thereby enhancing glucose uptake and utilization. Teneligliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, increases incretin levels, which inhibit glucagon release and increase insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner.
