Glenpar AC 100mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and swelling. Glenpar AC is indicated for the management of various musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other painful inflammatory disorders. It is also effective in relieving mild to moderate pain, including dental pain, postoperative pain, and soft tissue injuries. The combination provides synergistic pain relief with a favorable safety profile when used as directed.
Glenpar AC should be used cautiously in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, gastrointestinal ulcers, or cardiovascular conditions. It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or other NSAIDs.
