Glaritus Injection is indicated for the management of type 1 diabetes mellitus as a basal insulin supplement and for type 2 diabetes mellitus when oral hypoglycemic agents are insufficient to achieve glycemic targets. The injection is administered subcutaneously once daily, preferably at the same time each day, to maintain stable plasma insulin levels. Dose adjustments should be individualized based on patient response, blood glucose monitoring, and concomitant therapies.
Caution is advised in patients with renal or hepatic impairment, and hypoglycemia remains the most significant adverse effect. Proper injection technique and rotation of injection sites are essential to prevent lipodystrophy. Glaritus Injection should be used under medical supervision, with regular monitoring of blood glucose and HbA1c levels to optimize therapeutic outcomes and minimize complications associated with diabetes mellitus.
